To mark the 75th anniversary of the Basic Law, the Art Council of the German Bundestag has invited nineteen artists to explore the fundamental rights.

The exhibition will be opened on
Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 7 p.m.
by Julia Klöckner, President of the Bundestag, and Kristina Volke, Exhibition Curator, in the new
„Forum Kunst at the Bundestag“

Many of the participating artists will be present for the opening.

The exhibition runs until June 21, 2026. Over the course of the exhibition, the participating artists will be featured in focus shows, with additional works and work cycles being presented on the lower level of the exhibition space.

All areas of the exhibition will be open from 6 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on opening day. A booking is not required. Security checks will be carried out at the entrance. Please note that only small bags are permitted. Access is limited due to fire safety rules, and this may result in waiting times. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Please note that the entrance to the new "Forum Kunst im Bundestag" is via the grand staircase at Luisenstraße 30 (corner of Schiffbauerdamm), 10117 Berlin.

Opening hours from May 22, 2025: Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., until further notice.
