On Sunday, January 28, 2024, the inauguration of the new holy water bowl in the entrance to St. Peter and Paul will be celebrated in the church service at 10 a.m. in St. Peter and Paul. The holy water font shines with a new bowl on a newly renovated base. The Berlin artist Uli Aigner was hired to create a true-to-size porcelain bowl for the neo-Gothic clay base. Thanks to the generous support of the Archdiocese of Berlin, in addition to this special purchase, the base is also being restored by the Michelle Sachs/Berlin studio. The archdiocese's art and culture representative, Father Georg Maria Roers SJ, will celebrate the service together with Kalplan David Hilus in the presence of the artist.
